God’s Foretold Work (Bible Study)

God's Fortold Work PosterRemember the former things of old:
for I am God, and there is none else;
I am God, and there is none like me,
Declaring the end from the beginning,
and from ancient times the things that are not yet done,
saying, My counsel shall stand,
and I will do all my pleasure. Isaiah 46:9-10

This study will be a survey of the “Old” and “New” Testament Scriptures with an emphasis on the manner in which God has always declared His intentions before carrying them out. In consistently doing this, He has given us a pattern whereby we may not be caught ignorant of His purposes which have yet to be fulfilled in the earth, and in our own personal lives.

“Though the Vision Tarry, Wait For It,” quickly became our most watched session of the God’s Foretold Work Series (both in minutes and views). Though popularity alone should certainly not be a gauge of importance, we concur that our future meetings should take on the nature of making the vision plain, perhaps in the vein of the often hoped for “Apocalyptic Evangelism” Course, spoken of on the Mystery of Israel site.

In this session, we took a step back into the course’s timeline and considered the complaints of the prophet Habakkuk, as he witnessed the wicked swallowing up those more righteous than themselves. We looked for the same consolation that Habakkuk received from the LORD.
